Here in the Sonoran desert we have two optimal growing seasons: one in the spring, the other in the fall. Since few annual plants are suited to thrive in both conditions, it is important to choose plants that mature quickly to ensure a full life cycle within one season. Most any type of vegetables and fruits can be grown successfully when appropriate varieties are selected and planted at the right time.
At EAT we love to incorporate fruits, veggies, and herbs that are in season and grown locally. We have had record breaking temperatures and luckily we were able to harvest eggplant, prickly pear, and lemongrass to incorporate into this weeks specials!
