August is National Wellness Month and EAT is so excited to team up with Randi. She is a wonderful friend and also an inspirational healthy living mentor. Randi is a certified health coach and pilates instructor and works with individuals who want to better themselves. This week EAT's specials are influenced by Randi's healthy plant based lifestyle. Eating a plant based diet doesn’t mean that you are vegetarian or vegan and never eat meat or dairy. Rather, you are proportionately choosing more of your foods from plant sources. Easy ways to eat more plant-forward
EAT MORE VEGGIES: Fill half your plate with vegetables at lunch and dinner. Make sure you include plenty of colors in choosing your vegetables.
CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK ABOUT MEAT: Have smaller amounts. Use it as a garnish instead of a centerpiece.
